SatVu, a leading climate technology company, has secured £20 million in strategic funding. The investment, which includes a £10 million equity round co-led by Adara Ventures and Molten Ventures, will accelerate the development and launch of SatVu’s HotSat-2 and HotSat-3 satellites, both scheduled for deployment in 2025.
Following the successful launch of HotSat-1 in June 2023, which delivered unprecedented 3.5m resolution thermal data, the upcoming satellites will further enhance capabilities to monitor global carbon emissions and energy activities, providing near real-time data to support energy transition, infrastructure monitoring, and climate resilience efforts worldwide.
“With the invaluable new support from Adara Ventures, alongside the continued backing of our existing investor network, we’re accelerating our mission to deliver unparalleled thermal insights that empower industries and governments to take decisive climate action” said Anthony Baker, SatVu CEO and co-founder. “The launch of HotSat-2 and HotSat-3 will bring us closer to a net-zero future by providing the data needed to address the most pressing environmental and energy challenges of our time.”
