Acuity advises Callroute on its sale to 8x8

Founded in 2011 as Sipsynergy and headquartered in Hampshire, UK, Callroute is the company’s flagship platform that simplifies enterprise telephony by integrating voice infrastructure directly into collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Webex, enabling organisations to orchestrate and manage telephony across multiple systems through a single platform. The business has been backed by YFM Equity Partners since 2016.

By joining 8×8, Callroute will combine its voice orchestration capabilities with the scale of a global UCaaS provider, strengthening the combined offering for partners and customers. Together, the businesses will support an integrated Microsoft communications portfolio spanning Teams Phone, contact centre and Direct Routing, alongside enhanced global routing capabilities.
