VICTOR KARADJOV

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Victor joined Acuity in early 2022, before which he held senior positions with some of the most successful advisory firms active in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE).

Prior to joining Acuity, Victor was a founding Partner & Managing Director at Alantra in Vienna where he covered the wider Technology and Media as well as the Business Services sectors in Austria and CEE.

Before founding Alantra’s office for the CEE region, he was Head of TMT and Financial Sponsors coverage at Raiffeisen Bank International, and took part in some of the pre-eminent Telecoms and Technology transactions in the region as well as worked with several large and mid-market private equity firms on acquisitions and divestiture mandates.

Prior to moving to Vienna in 2011, Victor worked in London and Frankfurt for HSBC, UBS and Deutsche Bank, respectively.

With 20 years of experience in M&A advisory, Victor is well known and respected by many entrepreneurs, corporates and financial sponsors active in the CEE region.

“It was a humbling experience to learn that selling a company requires a very different skill and mind-set than founding and growing it. We were lucky to have Oliver Markl from Acuity lead the team, helping us navigate this process that resulted in a successful outcome. They grasped Instrumentation Technologies’ technological edge and team strength in a surprisingly short time, helped us articulate that concisely and supported us throughout the negotiation process with diligence and situational sensitivity. We are extremely pleased to have selected Acuity Advisors – we honestly think we couldn’t partner with a better adviser – and we thank them for their great support.”
