Acuity Advisors are looking for an experienced corporate finance analyst to support their fast growing business. They will work closely with Acuity’s partner team to support client projects and pre-sales activity. They will have a good working knowledge of online corporate finance data sources e.g. CapitalIQ, MergerMarket, Bloomberg. They will be comfortable building valuation analysis using a range of methodologies, completing primary research across a variety of data sources to develop lists of potential clients and acquiring companies, plus pulling together presentations using powerpoint. They should be very comfortable working autonomously but can expect regular face to face time with the entire Acuity team. The role is office based at Acuity’s office in Marlow, Bucks. For the right candidate this is a part time or full time position.
Client Projects:
Provide ad-hoc analytical support directly to partners responsible for client projects
Research to identify potential acquirers for client projects
Pre-Sales Activity
Identification and screening of potential clients
Sourcing and building comparable valuation analysis from third party data sources
Supporting creation of client pitch presentations
Our screening criteria is as follows:
2 years+ corporate finance experience
Education: degree preferred or vocational training
Problem solver
Analytical thinker
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Able to identify where help is required
Professional services business experience
IT savvy, comfortable with a variety of software and systems
Personable, good interpersonal skills, ability to deal with people at all levels
Self starter, self motivated, full of initiative and spark
